Aeration plays an essential role in the wastewater treatment process, delivering air to enhance aerobic biodegradation of organic materials. A well-designed aeration system directly impacts the efficiency of the wastewater treatment process, reducing the length of time the process takes, while increasing energy efficiency and cutting costs.

Having power in the form of compressed air provides end-users with much more control over usage and air quality. Around 90% of all manufacturing companies use compressed air in their production and plant processes in some form or other and it is such an essential element in processing that we call it ‘the third utility’.

Removal of phosphate from effluent is an essential part of wastewater treatment for utilities to comply with environmental legislation. The continuous dosing of ferric sulphate at water treatment works requires the application of reliable, high performance systems.
