If you are in the EC and buying from the UK, you will buy the goods without VAT provided you have an intracommunity VAT number (but you will have to pay VAT in your own country). If you are buying from the UK from outside the EC, that country’s import duties will apply. The usual way is to register for VAT.
Can you make money from being VAT registered?
