How many days you can stay outside UK?
180 days
Many UK immigration categories impose a requirement that the visa holder must not be outside the UK for more than 180 days in any 12-month period — that is, if the person wants to apply for indefinite leave to remain. Are there any restrictions on your continuous residence in the UK?
What is the rule for continuous residence? To have a five-year continuous residence period a person must not have been absent from the UK for more than 6 months in any 12-month period. If they spend more time than this outside the UK their continuous residence is broken.
Can you leave UK without BRP?
You are advised not to travel outside the UK without your BRP. The BRP is proof of your immigration permission and you are normally required to show this in order to travel to, and re-enter the UK.
How long can you stay in the UK before you have to leave?
There is no rule about how much time you can spend in the UK in aggregate, only that you must leave before six months have elapsed (or, if you are admitted for a shorter time, you must leave before the end of that shorter period, of course).
What happens when I leave the UK 2019 / 20?
This is because the personal allowance (£12,500 in 2019/20) is usually divided throughout the year so you receive a proportion in each pay packet. If you only work for part of the tax year or leave the UK part way through a tax year, you will not have received your entire tax-free allowance and will have paid too much tax.
What happens at the end of limited leave to remain?
Limited leave to remain requires you to depart the UK at the end of the specified visa period, or to make a further application to the Home Office, through either an extension, further leave or indefinite leave to remain, to ensure you retain lawful immigration status.
When do short term students have to leave the UK?
As a Short-term Student, you are expected to leave the UK within 30 days of finishing your studies or before your immigration permission ends, whichever is sooner.
